Every service comes with a 12-month parts and labour guarantee. Free fluid, battery, safety and air con pressure checks too: just ask.

Minor service
£118.80Fixed price, inc VAT. 12-month parts and labour guarantee. Anything else, we tell you before we do the work
MOTs, done properly
£45- Class 4: cars, taxis, vans up to 3,000 kg and minibuses up to 8 passenger seats
- Booked in a set time slot, so you're not left hanging about
- Wait in our viewing room and watch your car being tested
- Lights, brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, seatbelts, emissions and the rest
- Free partial retest if we repair it and retest within 10 working days

MOT questions
How much is an MOT?
£45 for a Class 4 MOT, which covers cars and vans up to 3,000 kg.
What counts as Class 4?
Cars, passenger vehicles, motor caravans, private hire vehicles, motor tricycles, quadricycles and dual-purpose vehicles with up to eight passenger seats; goods vehicles up to 3,000 kg design gross weight; and taxis and ambulances with up to eight passenger seats.
How early can I book it?
Up to 28 days before your current certificate runs out. The new certificate runs for 12 months from the old expiry date, not the day of the test, so you don't lose any time.
My MOT has run out. Can I still drive?
In short, no. You can't legally drive on UK roads, and you can't renew your road tax.
Is the retest free?
If you leave the car with us for the repair and it's retested within 10 working days, the partial retest is free.
What's the difference between an MOT and a service?
An MOT checks the important items meet the legal standard on the day. It doesn't look at the engine, clutch or gearbox. A service looks after the whole car so it keeps running well: see what's in each one above.
Can I wait while it's done?
Yes. We have a small waiting and viewing room where you're welcome to sit and watch the test.

Brakes
Worried about your brakes, or off on a long trip? Book a free brake check. We road test, measure pads and discs, check calipers, pipes, handbrake and fluid, then give you a written report and a quote.
Air conditioning
Regassing and repairs for all vehicles. R134a is common before 2014; cars from 2017 use R1234yf. Smells from the vents? An air con clean and anti-bacterial odour bomb (£14.99 + VAT) removes them rather than masking them.
Diagnostics
Warning light on? Diagnostics and fault finding for all makes and models, plus a 30-point health check for your car.
Tyres & balancing
Any brand, any size. Puncture repairs where it's safe to, precision wheel balancing and nitrogen inflation.
Vans & fleets
